一座沈靜的大宅，日的幽光和夜的星光在稍移：一位半身不遂、終日躺在臥榻的年輕人，一個新來照顧他的溫柔男看護，與偶爾出現、始終得不到諒解的父親。除去社會階級的背景，關於身體和精神的禁錮，關於對生命的欲望，而存在的命題，爆炸在新星誕生的大宇宙當中。

得獎理由

看似平凡的故事背後，卻包融了非常多元的指涉，從個人生命、階級歷史、宇宙循環、到東方輪迴、宗教科學思想等等，表面上這是關於三個處於不同狀態的男性的共處狀態，藉由層次細膩的影像美學表現，也加入了導演包容的目光，展現了背後更多不能言盡的感覺，令影片變成萬物有情的互動與感動。
